Gorgon wrote:As Alex noted, you can get a lot in them I've crammed a fair bit in mine, 1 big suitcase in the boot, a Aussie girl (we all know Aussie gals are built) and two of those huge travelling backpack things in the rear and a 6ft+ Finnish guy that looks like techno viking in the front.

I will say the ride suffered though
Sounds like a wild night!

Oh yeah it was immense, on the way back from Stansted we stopped at Elveden forest and proceeded to slap eachother with the finest Finnish reindeer steaks whilst shouting "fuuuuuuarrrrk mate".

Seriously tho, you can squeeze a suprising amount in a lude. If you look at luggauge capp for the 5g it's near 300L which is more than most coupes made today :)

All that said though, the boot becomes a lot smaller the second you put a rear brace in. Phil managed to wedge two 16" wheels with tires in the boot and then the other two had to go on my rear seats. Whilst his Merc had two sets of wheels in the boot and one set on the rear seats

The thing I am considering the Lude over the Civic Coupe is that the power is already there in the H22 no need for engine swaps etc..

Ive also read though that the Lude isn't much quicker than a B16. but I do prefer the looks of the Lude and its a little common

Also liking the sounds of the crazy Lude parties :P

isnt much quicker than a b16?

b16's are ok if you are kicking the crap out of it in a light car. and in the civic coupe that'll be the lower powered one right? i took an ek9 CTR with b18 strocker kit and must say i was very unimpressed! vtec was just a change in noise!

I was thinking the H22 would be a fair quicker and people were talking nonsense. The only Honda engines I've experinced is the D15 and D16. So I have not felt good Vtec yet :(

ok going to say something here and it will be controversial but i really believe civic coupe and even dc2 have more space in the back! b16/18's seem faster due to being in a lighter car ;)

5'11, 185lbs here. I can sit in the back of my 5th gen without my head hitting the ceiling. Leg room would be very tight for me, and the person sitting up front though. In a 4th gen, my head was rubbing hard against the ceiling. Leg room isn't worth mentioning.

Prelude = 2+2. it's not the smallest out there, but it's not the car you'd want to take on a long road trip with four people.
1997 Prelude Base (wrecked)
1996 Prelude SR (sold)
1994 Subaru SVX LSi (Sold)

Current:
1999 Prelude Base (S-Spec build in progress)
1990 Nissan 300ZX (weee!)
2011 Ford CVPI (daily)
1957 Cadillac Coupe de Ville

If you take the passenger seat out can get this in the car :)

Which was 2 complete hubs, 3 spoilers, 8 wheels with tyres, 1 tyre and 1 wheel w/o tyre fitted

Not sure about the space comparison but prelude FTW! :)
