I have considered a remap, but I really should have 1 car out of 4 that I don't throw money at in modifications  some folks have had 200BHP+ out of the 2.0 HDI's, serious money involved though and at the end of it you're still driving a Citroen  was surprised to see that there's a pretty big diesel tuning scene though.

The 2.0 HDi engine is really nice. My wife drives a wee 206 with one of those shoehorned into it 8-)

Yeah it's not too bad, could do with a bit more grunt though as I've only got the 90BHP non intercooled version. A stage 1 remap would apparently take it up to about 120BHP, which is about what my old Audi A4 had so I think I could live with that. Just worried about fuel economy, the way I drive it I only just get 4ompg a tank :?

40mpg? Ooft - even ragging it the 206 is giving me 45-50. Katie is averaging 65

Yeah, I think I need to get it down to my diesel mechanic friend, it feels a bit sluggish so I wonder if it's performing at 100% especially as it's not getting great fuel mileage. It is a big old lump of an estate car though
