My first house cost me 33.5 k was valued at 125k in the boom but my x mrs wouldn't move out. drokking fat useless rhubarb of a bitch. Word filter that then lol. Finally sold 2years later for 85k. Nice profit but could have been so much better. House prices up the valleys are so cheap compared to other areas and we even have running water and electric nowadays .

Well done bud, nothing like having your own home. I had one once, I paid £42,000 for a mid terrace in Rossendale Lancs about 14 years ago, it was massive inside, sold it 18 months later for £56,000 and they went silly after that. Now I am renting, £500 pcm, big big place but its such a muffin to heat

congrats mate. What a bargain. Our 2 bed flat is 2.5 x the cost of that. crikey

I remember the day when we got our mortagage accepted - enjoy the feeling

We are now looking to upgrade in getting a 3 bed house too now and the first pirority = it must have a garage.

Only thing houses with a garage is near 3.5 x the price of yours

Good luck mate. Hope everything works out well - good luck with the garage and workshop build 8-)

Congratulations Alex. That house looks really nice and really good value for me.

We just bought a house for £320,000 that only comes with 3 Bedroom terraced house with no garage and a really small driveway. :?

Our mortgage was approved back in December 2012 but we still are having trouble with the flat we are selling. The new buyer keeps asking for stupid stuff such as different types of certificates, plans, garage drawing etc. It's taking soo long. Silly me, tried to sell the property privately so have to deal with some of the stuff our self. I hope you get yours sorted soon. :geek:

Cheers peeps! It's shear luck to be honest! Saw the house at just the right time and 5% mortgages have just appeared on the market with the principality. It's only because it's so cheap we can afford it

Nits, if you get a minute have a look on right move for what you can get for £300,000 around here. Put NP12 in as the post code ;)
