If you're happy then that's fine. I have an Import car and if something was to happen to it, I wouldn't want the the insurers to give me a £800ish price which is what the market value of an UKDM Prelude is at the moment. Just imo.. :)

yeah but if you make a claim and they find out its an import they will use it to invalidate the claim

This is what I was worried about.

But hang on, I just had another little tinker around on confused and managed to get a quote of 665 quid for an import.... thats not that bad. When I switched it back over to UK car it went up to 775 :lol: bloody things broken!

Thats a very good price, I have 2 years no claims and an advanced driving course, plus car is lock up in a alarm garage and im paying £3700

I've used sky for a few years now, I first used them to insure my UKDM vti, when I swapped to my JDM the price didn't change at all ;)

£3700 you are mad paying that :shock: im through ecar and they have been ok actually I used to be on a trade policy but just insured the gt4 on its own im 23 4 years ncb and its £470
I hit the limiter in my h23 vtec still didn't kick in
