Yes I know, and I put in a 99p bid so it would remind me before it finished. But I don't get reception at work so didn't get the 15min notification till I got outside for my break.

Why bid 99p and leave it. Just bid you maximum amount you want to pay. No point in waiting for the last min as it make no difference. You win or you dont.

That is dirt cheap though.

Yeah, that doesn't make me feel any better.

I'd planned on coming back to it when I had more time & thinking about how much I wanted to bid max - then placing that bid early. But I forgot about it.

Lesson learned (the hard way).
