There's another type of car crime waiting in the wings.
Today's Sunday Times had an interesting article about hackers targeting modern cars. You need only to get into one 'corner' of the system - the media player, for example - and you can get remote control of the vehicle's software-driven functions.
This could be useful for some. Just three examples I thought of: car parking companies will no longer need wheel clamps; key thefts will become a thing of the past; the police will no longer have to chase vehicles.
Better still: we should all get a wifi hacking kit and never again be blitzed off the line by a Ferrari or AMG Black.
