I have driven both a standard UK VTI and a Type S (currently have it without ATTS) and whilst I cannot compare ATTS against an LSD I can say that the differences in the revised front suspension makes the car less likely to push on the front end, I can take corners so much quicker in the Type S. The type S is not just about the ATTS, it also has a host of other features that make the car a little different than the other models.
The power limitation is one of the reasons why I went with a different engine completely. The car will have an LSD fitted towards the end of the year and so should not have any trouble getting the power down out of corners any longer!

Your unqualified and 'feelings' based appraisal of ATTS is mildly antagonistic in it's judge'mental' attitude imo. You are asking a question about a set up you know little about, of people who own said system, while basically telling us it's ''not as good'' as what you have tried, without having tried it.. Um, well ok then

Like asking for a blowjob after telling the girl she's jobby at sucking gentleman's sausage. You got what chance of a happy ending? You see? the analogy just keeps on giving.

6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

Whats all this power limiting nonsense. You lot says it puts you off buying a Type S yet your still running stockish power on your other Preludes, so if you actually bought a Type S would you then add power. I am. Im currently close to 230bhp. When remapped a hell of alot more.
There are only a few cars on here running more than 250bhp. You can run as much power as you want in a Type S without issues. You cant run high amounts of torque though. But when i say that i mean like 10psi off a turbo power and at that point i would be worried about ATTS but our amazingly stong ringlands.
Trust me when i say power isnt an issue with ATTS cars, For uber high power then yes but they that defeats the point of a fine handling FRONT wheel drive car.
Onto the ATTS any good debate. You cant have an opinion until you have tried it. Simple as.
I like it, i like it alot. I will like it alot more soon.

Not being a track monkey or striving for "more power", I find that the type s is a superb all round daily.
Points by tramroad.
1. its the reason why you can't achieve loads of power because your ecu won't let you.
Its ample for a daily drive imo, I achieve 31-33mpg on average per tank full, more than I have in any other lude I have owned. Also beats many newer cars at the lights. And corners. And straights.
2, its the reason why you cant disconnect your abs for some tidy reliable brakes that work when your foot wants them to rather than when the ecu decides its safe to apply that much braking force.
Why would I want to remove the abs? I again have owed 3 other ludes and many other Hondas and other brands, these are with no doubt, the most efficient brakes in pulling your car to a controlled halt, tbh, I have never really felt the abs working, I have broke hard in this car, I get a very slight drone and small vibration in the pedal, compared to the 4th gen where the pedal vibrates and shudders and you have to use the steering wheel to correct the direction due to the instability. I get none of this with the type s,
3, a prelude is a drivers car and surely a half decent driver can cope with an lsd and doesn't need to have some restrictive electronic device to pull him round the corner.
This too can be argued about lsd compared to a normal box. If you are a “decent driver” why need any aid at all?
