There is not a front trolley jack point on the 4th Gen, there is on the 5th?

Yes I think there is one on the 4th but because the jacking point is at the front and in the middle it is inaccessible to me because my bumper almost touches the floor.. so I use the side jacking points but the jack doesn't fit between the floor and the sideskirts unless I jack the car up a little from the back just to make some clearance.

Ah I'm with you now, I'd get some wood and drive it on to that if that is the case, How much height would you need to get the jack under? From the photo in your sig it doesn't look that much?

Or buy these, but a few bits of wood may be cheaper :lol:

The jacking point is right where the skirt gets deep, so the jack just won't quite reach.. yes, I'm going to go for the driving onto a couple of bits of wood approach. I only need about an inch clearance, which is why it's such a pain to get the rear jacked up for fcuk all.
