Prelude Plans for 2013

I got a wishbone for the BB4 today. It's actually for a 4g/5g Accord but I intend to see if it fits as I know a bloke with a CB Accord running 4g Prelude running gear... Will hopefully fit it tonight, just need to check the torque settings and give the CV boots a check just in case (will be a ball ache if I need to replace them later)

- Use Sea Foam Motor Treatment,
- Clean EGR valve,
- Replace O2 sensor.

Haven't done any of this yet, will do around about the next oil change in a couple of thousand miles time. Also gonna replace spark plugs and have a go at cleaning out the EGR channels.

Just cleaned my garage and shocked to see so many parts waiting to be fit on.

Engine mounts They are for sale..
De-Cat Not on the car
Red Caroet and Console. DONE
Strut braces (rear) Done
ATR brake set up Not on the car
ATR manifold (still need to find some info and will defo need Emanage before I put this on ) SOLD this.
Motegi Sides Still not installed
Mugen rear bits and a bonnet bra (not sure if I want them) Sold and don't want it

Step 2: Depending on MOT result, either (a) sort the little problems and fit accumulated parts to car Have I Nelly! Maybe in 2014, or (b) buy another one and fit said accumulated parts to that instead. option dismissed

- Finalise installation of short shifter Complete
- Fit CC ultra lightweight flywheel Complete
- Fit CC stage 1 clutch Fitted ATR Clutch in the end
- Gearbox oil change (together with fly and clutch change) Completed by PAW in Sept 2013
- General maintenance, service and My OCD habit of keeping it clean Annual Service Oct 2013
- Maybe buy additional set of wheels for track use No Space in the Flat
- More track days No Track days this year. Brother wasn't ready
- Drive it more often to work Every Fridays

Plan 2

- Sell prelude and buy a lancer evolution (always wanted one) / DC5 or an ATR
Prelude has come along way I don't think I will be selling it for some time

Other non planned purchases /Work

- Re-Installation of Rear JDM bumper
- Respray & blend of rear JDM bumper
- HoneyComb Grill and Prelude badge purchase
- Bonnet insulator purchase
- front and rear droplinks and Front ARB bushes
- Hankook Evo12 K110 tyres - Change from 224-45-R17 to 205-45-R17 tyres
- K&N filter purchase
- Resonator Removal
- Whilst flywheel and clutch being fitted by PAW - they also installed a new Fuel filter, did a throttle body tune up and tighten up all aux belts
- Purchased vtec solenoid gasket


Not much planned for 2014. Just to enjoy it and drive it more - and of course to do more track days

I fitted the wishbone and by eye I'd say my camber on that wheel is drokked the knuckle just clears the coil spring though so I may do the other side and just live with it, it's not like I'll be doing the miles to mean tyre wear is an issue. And plus I hear all the cool kids run negative camber

I have a handbrake cable, just need a rear caliper and to replace a CV boot and I'm done (provided a year of standing on the drive hasn't shagged everything else on the car )
