Not offended Shiny. If you can drink in moderation good luck to you. A picture on the forum or a comment said in jest or otherwise will not send me off down the pub. If i have a drink at the moment it means I am hooked on the stuff if I leave it alone without problems then maybe I am not. Its not an experiment/gamble I wish to take just for today at least.

To everybody else thanks for your support and encouragement it is heart warming to be part of such a great bunch as you lot!

I wouldn't have posted it if I knew it would have offended you Paul...

Or would I?........

Lol ;)

In all seriousness me and the missus had an alcohol break last year when it seemed like we were drinking every night. We found the reason was enjoyment rather than dependence. If there was alcohol in the house, we drunk it. If there wasn't any in the house, we went without. I drink more than I should, but I also eat more than I should and make my car drink more petrol than it should. I swear more than I should, I Clubbing Eddy more than Nitin and clean my car more than I should. But hey, life ain't too bad really.

That post might have seemed gloomy to write Paul, but it was anything but gloomy to read. Good on you.

Good for you Paul,
Two big steps taken..... The first to accept that the drink had become a problem, and the second to take responsibility and do something about it.

I really admire a man that can admit his faults to the world, a problem shared is a problem solved that's a direct quote from my mother! haha willpower is something that constantly needs worked on it doesn't come without a struggle but once you master it you will reap the rewards of knowing you never gave up. good luck my man.
