I heard this this morning on the way to work and couldn't get my head round it either.
But for a bit of information for you they do test pregnant woman on their carbon levels on every checkup to see if they have been smoking, I don't know what they would do if you had been found to be smoking as amy doesn't smoke

Also heard this on the radio this morning...
...coming from someone who lost their son just hours away from birth I know all too well how precious life is, it boils my blood to hear of this absolute pile of $h|1 concept - what F..ing idiot came up with it!!!
Reading through your whole rant James, I felt as if the words were coming out of my own.

Thanks Rob. I simply cant counternance the system that would think this up as a reasonable solution.
Its good they test for carbon but as you say what happens if she is on 50 B&H a day? Sorry, it would prolly be L&B or Superkings wouldn't it.
That woman recently didnt get done for drinking voddy everyday and giving birth to a disabled girl. that really got me thinking....

I think it is disgusting why do people now have to be bribed to help themselves and their unborn children, They should be told if you do smoke the kid will be taken away from you as your obviously putting yourself before the kid.
A shopping voucher isnt going to alleviate a nicotine craving so its no medical help at all.
I kind of have a different view of obesity though i have hyperthyroidism and i eat less than 1000 calories a day normally i go to the gym 3 times a week i walk and run and still put weight on
I also appreciate muscle is heavier than fat but i am sometimes exasperated when i look at someone who is hugely big/fat and realise i am heavier by a lot

so it isnt as easy as the above for everyone i never used to beleive in the excuse "its my glands":lol:but i now have "that" issuelewd lude lover wrote:But it is! You are physcally unable to stop putting food in your mouth. Thats a ''cant do'' so is a disability.![]()
I know from experience the only way you get fat (ok donald, but for the minute few actual fatties) is to eat more than you do. Simple. Its been shown what happens to the fat when you lose it. You breath it out as carbon dioxide.... You breath it out...
Breath it out......
Mad I tell you. Mad as a box of frogs.
