Classics of the future

They are indeed!! Everyone needs to experience owning a car with hidden lights at some point. I love the ones on my Honda, but the ones on my Charger were my favourite.

Future classics with hidden lights: 3rd gen accords and Preludes, Elans, Esprits, Corvettes, Volvo 480s, MX5, RX7, S13, 1st gen Eclipse, MR2, the list goes on. Just as it's something that's never likely to be created again as normal on mass production vehicles, I think that alone will make a lot of cars potential future classics.

I was thinking the mk2 as the mk1 is pretty much already a classic really. Nice motor!

Me personally am not that much of a fan of the mk2 but yeah I guess the mk1 is already semi deemed a classic. Be interesting to see how it all pans out in years to come

insurance co told me that it would be another 2 yrs then the plelude would be a classic car ????
the term classic was something that was " super" "extraordinary " etc etc so how on earth is a mk 1 0r 2 escort or any of that old drivel a "classic"
theres a mk 5 escort cab on line for sale £11750 ... they were crap when they were new even ford admitted it?

Really...interesting the insurance are saying that! As previously mentioned, I think it is a case of perception and opinion, always going to be the way with cars. Like with the amount of gay jokes I have had since buying the lude and the constant heated rear window comments when I had my fabia

Insurance saying something is a classic, and something being a classic, are two completely separate things. Insurance saying something's a classic is usually a polite way of them saying you have an old car

I remember when I had a classic vehicle fleet policy, and I had 3x Chargers on it, a Mustang, 2x Camaros, a Trans-Am, and a freaking Fiero, and they classed all of them as classics!!! When I got the Fiero, I was expecting it to not fit on the classic scheme, but when I got told that it was deemed a classic, I nearly spat out my cigarette in shock!!

Please note, that this is the only time I'll ever admit to owning a Fiero, other than stories that start "I was drunk this one time and went on eBay...."

Old is always cool. This is a photo from the monthly meet of my local car club. We like old cars in that club!

Between myself and my friends, we've bought about a dozen motors when drunk and with eBay access. It is a dangerous combination!!

These have included a VW Baja Bug, a Pontiac Fiero, a Geo Metro, a VW Type 2 bus, and nearly 10 years on, we're still not quite sure how, or exactly where we got it, or even found it, but a pink Kenworth W900 sleeper......
