D you connect your PC to an HDTV? Just had a look at full HD monitors and they're quite pricey! So unless you're playing 1080p you're gonna be back at a console's 720 anyway

and its not just the res that makes pc graphics better, the graphics are FAR better in every way

My PC monitor is full HD, 24" though but that's big enough when your sat right in front of it

I could connect it to my TV but its a bit old and only does just over 720p in PC Res and I hate using a controller

Oh yes I understand that, but if you have 20/20 vision and are looking through a dirty window, well, it's not going to be as good as you might expect just because the processing end is good
