5g CF mugen spoiler pt2 (6 new pics) parts out :)

LLL, I was planning on bringing the completed spoiler with me but don't think it's going to be finished in time as I really don't wana rush it and make a mess.

I can bring some rad mounts, eyebrows & a gear surround if anyone want's them? The eyebrow moulds have had a serious polish and will come out like the best part of the spoiler now

Hummmm looks funking ACE.
If i choose to have one i will still high build prime etc and paint it. You just need to do one with a brake light included.

Fair enough, dont think youd need the high build now tho, the mould has been polished down to a 2000 grit in 6 stages and polished with medium grade rubing compound. Im considering painting some of the parts too, going to have a cf car soon

One this is done it will be bonnet spoiler then front wings

That looks really good. I don't know if you have done much vac bagging before so excuse me if you have.....

If you want to get the highest gloss a couple of good tips are

1) Spread your resin by sandwiching the cloth between 2 sheets of bagging film. Lay the cloth on one pour resin over it and lay another sheet over it. You can really squeeze it in then and it avoids pin holes. Flip it over and spread the resin from both sides.

2) Instead of using perforated release film under the breather cloth use bagging film with pin prick holes made with a (believe it or not!) pin. You can control resin bleed out better.

Might help you on your quest for a CF world!!

alex im very impressed with your work, the production quality is coming on leaps and bounds! i could see a possible cf business oppatunity arising here especially if you get your hands on a workshop! so to set you of could you pm me prices for a full interior trim, mugen spoiler, and wings please pal and ill start placing some orders
