The only way to stop them was to wear midge/mosquito headwear anc cover absolutely everything else!!! Wee b*stards :x Mental!
Aviemore is a great wee town. Always packed year round with tourists and could be a good place for a 'new' venture
Ha! Those are the tame ones, head over the the west coast for the full experience! They are only an issue in very rural areas though, I've yet to be hassled with them down in Fife.

You could try around the New Forest area, many years ago I used to live there and it was ace.

Or if you feel like slumming it a bit you could try Gravesend in Kent... it's my lovely hometown and the death place of Pocahontas.

Hmm... Kent was Option #1 and it's still on the list. I found that it's relatively easy to get a job there but the costs of living seem to be quite high. I've been to Maidstone and Strood and drove around the place a bit but from what I've seen it's a little too packed for me, I'm afraid.

The New Forest area I will look into, may be interesting. Research underway, thanks for the idea!

Yeah those two areas are not at all ideal :P all of my family live/grew up around there and it's not where you would choose to live over somewhere else! Not sure whereabout Crazy lives in Kent, but there are nice areas of course.

The New Forest though, nice place 8-) I think Nafeman isn't too far away from there so maybe he has some suggestions if he reads this.
