Received my Pi at the weekend.
Installed XBian, ran fine and hooked up to Yatse to control from Android. Only thing I'm yet to find is how to link a Unix/Pi distro to my SQL library.
Have now installed Squeezeplug - a debian based distro that's purely for Logitech Squeezebox stuff. It can run as a server, or player, or both! I've only installed the player as my NAS runs the LMS side of things. It's brilliant! 20 seconds after turning it on, I have a visible Squeezebox player on my network, and it runs completely headless.
I can see it won't be long until I've got a couple more of these things dotted about the house!

I already have it setup and working on my 2 Windows machines, so the shared library is there and working, and I have the XML file ready, it was just getting it into the Pi I had the "problem" with!

Ta, will check it out. Currently enjoying my SqueezeLite player.
One useful tool I've found is http://www.alexpage.de/usb-image-tool/download/
Can take an image backup of your SD card, this way if like me you're playing with different distro's you can do it with just the one card without losing any settings you've made.

Ok, Lost my Pi as it's become an Air print server for my dad's Ipad
Installed Mediaportal again after not using it for some time, wow they have made some changes, it looks sweet. Also tried the alpha of mediaportal 2 and that looks even sweeter although a bit buggy to actually use
Looks like I'll be back to using a PC as a media centre for the mo
