I've got a canon 1000D with 18-55mm lens. perfect for an entry level.
Nitin I'm after a 550D as I want to start using it for video capture.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

ludes are ment to be driven, not wanking around on a stand like a Civic.

MPB photographic is an excellent site, the guy started out doing just nikon and canon used gear, but now does other makes. Really has taken off the last couple of years. I bought most of my kit from him and probably saved a couple of grand in total. And if anything he is over cautious with his descriptions. The vast majority of my 'used' gear may as well be new. - all boxes, mint condition etc.

Well....
I've bought a GE X600 bridge camera.

So far I'm really impressed with it, picture quality is great, its easy to use and it was only £110.
It's 14.4 megapixels, 26x zoom...even records in 1080p.
