now i have a surplus caliper on its way to me

maybe i should referb it ready to go on, mines obv knacked somewhere. still not to worry till next year

. What about the cable being stretched to much on just that side.. could be time for a new one.. it has happened before.

i dont think it has stretched as the equalizer moves both cables the same distance, if one were longer the equlizer would take up the slack. to be fair the hand brake has never been that brill, i have had the car 6 years

do yourself a favor and buy a spare claiper for the other side, refurb them both then when you have a spare few hours switch them for your old fooked ones! refurb your old fooked ones, sell them and buy beer and women!

yeh but its finding them cheap, this one was 9.99

i am in the middle of cleaning it. was thinking i would referb it(assuming the bleed nipple will undo, i havnt tried yet, gona let it soak up the wd40 for a few days first) as mine prob wont pass another mot. now if i can find the left for 9.99 i will be happy, guess i will just have to keep looking

may even take it apart (see how it works) and photo all the parts for here
