That is quite a good counter
Still, there will always be this argument of LSD vs ATTS vs 4WS, and IMO it's futile to profess the benefits of one whilst refuting the validity of another, because there will always be a) someone who will argue a point just because they have the tech in question; b) someone who will oppose said argument just because they have the other tech; c) someone with minimal knowledge/experience of either who will then take a side just to have a side; and d) someone that has further knowledge of all systems and has made their choice based on the performance in a single given situation. People circle-jerk where they can, this argument will be just like JDM > UKDM, 4G vs 5G, etc.
I think many people forget to be objective when making their judgements, there is no 'better' system overall because they're designed for different circumstances. However my knowledge (mechanical and theoretical) is minuscule in comparison to others so of course there will be some who think I should just shut up.

Some excellent points made in your reply above Gorgon
Luckily i have experience of 4WS & LSD. Anyone who doesn't rate 4WS as a system probably hasn't driven it properly or given it a try long enough for you to become used to the slightly odd sensations that occur compared to regular 2WS. The other day i was cornering round a very long & tight bend and i could "feel" the 4WS doing its thing with the car, as i call it, "crabbing" round. It feels like a drift that is perfectly under control. Very weird if you are not used to it, in fact i was smiling as after a while of driving with 4WS you get so used to it that you don't notice, but when i did notice, it was a good experience, and the car felt like it was handling amazingly.
This is the point of 4WS. Amazing turn-in to slow corners & pin-sharp handling . The fact that it aids parking beyond belief is a pleasant secondary bonus!
Was reading an article in Evo magazine a month or two ago about a front wheel drive car with LSD (can't for the life of me think which car, possibly Megane R26? ) and how driving a well sorted front wheel drive car with LSD can be every bit as enjoyable as driving a well sorted rear wheel drive car. The author described trying to turn-in while carrying seemingly too much speed but the LSD just grips as if sling-shotting round a lamp post on a rope, and you catapult down the road. I immediately thought of the Lude and how it feels when i really attack in it. It really is a fantastic sensation
I guess Honda knew what they were doing by employing these systems, so i can only assume that ATTS is the pinnacle of front wheel drive technology. The fact that they spent so much money developing the system and the fact that the flagship of the Lude range employs this would suggest that it is the best engineered solution to front wheel drive utopia. Can't bloody wait to get mine sorted so i can comment in full
