i hate to say i told you so but im not the only person thinking it then. they would rather write off a car than repair it where they can recoup some money back from salvage too, book price on it is peanuts, cost of a bumper and a bonnet plus fitting and painting is bloody expensive. just wrote alexs car off for nothing more than a rear bumper scuffed and a broken fog light and i remember LLL trying to sell me a red type s that was cat c for very little damage last year, i had my blue 4th cat c'd for a small dent in the wing and a cracked sidelight lens 2 years ago.tramroadmotors wrote:Another write off then

Ideally a new bonnet if possible in the same colour.
Bumper is easy peasy to fix.

Whatever happens (which I will probably know on Thursday) I can tell you guys that I will keep this car. Even if its a write off, which I highly doubt, I'll accept the correct price for my car as I've insured it as a Type-S and will get it fix. Second hand bumper and fresh paint on the bumper I can get that sorted my self later on month.
Will keep you guys updated..

Blame nitins photos. He took better ones and my 2nd opinion was based on those. Benchood.tramroadmotors wrote:RattyMcClelland wrote:I can guarantee they will say new bonnet the the front 4 panels respraying at a cost of around £1300.
