The best steering feeling, by far, is the 4ws on the 3rd Gen :D

It's an experience ALL Lude owners should experience at least once 8-)

@macky_6: agreed on some levels but i had a ukdm with 4ws for a year and I found the system was good, to a point. that point was when 4ws says ''sorry mate, I cant keep up with you''

It cant keep up if your serious. thats the truth of it. that crabbing does turn into oversteer and understeer, sometimes at the same time :o the ragged edge is way more messy and a hell of a lot closer.

its a good system for the time but its a sporty gimmick more than a serious performance tool. the steering is too light as well imo.

and before anyone say, yes the 4ws was working perfectly on my first car ;)

that said, 4ws open diff verses any other car with just open diff and 4ws will slap that car silly. its all about perspective.

an AWD skyline R34 driver is going to laugh at this conversation  :?

But, that said, you can't compare a 2.6 turbo-charged car to ours  It's too embarrassing

Id agree with this. There have been quite a few occasions where the back has stepped out on me pushing it around round abouts with 4ws. Hasn't happened since the 4ws gave. Always a bit strange when the back goes first with FWD :?

I would say this with other words: ATTS is great if you are driving your car on the track on a daily basis.
I'm not a profi driver, but I'm giving my lude the throttle it deserves and I think the 4WS system is predictable enough when you get used to it. My 2c.

 i gave up after 10 mins. ratty had the bit between his teeth though

@edaniel@ yes mate your not wrong. lots of people would say that an LSD on a FWD car is out and out dangerous though. for the vast majority of drivers this is true. If you dont know what your doing it will put you in a hedge.

horses for course's
