Cheers Nitin. My wife is Sikh so im now starting to get to a few indian weddings myself.

Ours was pretty simple, apart from a lot of indian relatives, indian food and indian music, best of both worlds (short english ceremony, long indian party afterwards!)

How many people are you planning? normally they are pretty large events by english standards (we *only* had 100 people which im told is a very small number!)

In our traditional, every single person gets an invite..

Mostly normal 500-700 people turn up at the events (organised here). Don't know how many people will actually turn up to the wedding in India.

My grandfather will pay for majority of the stuff in India so don't care.. They can call who they want..

I might/hopefully have a small party here in UK when I get back from India, Then we can have a LG meet there.
