hmm the 4ws got me in real trouble this morning - i'd managed to squeeze into a really tight space on the right side of the road. trying to get out this morning i somehow managed to get my right rear tight against the kerb pulling out and the right front corner of my bumper up against the car in front - i could basically move one foot forward but it was nowhere near to getting out the space. had to end up tight up against the car in front to give enough space for teh rear wheel to turn the other way and mount the kerb going backwards.
i really don't like 4ws in parallel parking!!

I've had 4WS for just over a year now and I still do this most mornings, but then most of the morons on my street can't park anyway... I've come out some mornings and only been able to get a leg width between bumpers at each end of the car... I think even with 4WS that would've been a thousand point turn!skinny wrote:had to end up tight up against the car in front to give enough space for teh rear wheel to turn the other way and mount the kerb going backwards.

Just to reinforce this, the only thing that's actually gone wrong for me is a bit of a sticky caliper situation, one droplink, and I once sat in it (not running) with the radio on and didn't realise my passenger had left their heated seat on as well so I got a flat battery.Merlin wrote: Dont fret about owning a Prelude, very reliable.

Pretty much exactly this! Even if the light comes on, it's usually a failed sensor (which you'd need to fix for your ABS anyway).

I've been trying to find the video on Youtube where a girl spends 10 minutes trying to park her car and then eventually the BF gets out the passenger seat and moves the car in front. Can't find it for the life of me.
It was filmed by some kiddies in the house opposite a junction and they had the giggles.
