I can't wait until I have the time/money etc to do such a great tour. Glad you and the 'lude are home safe and sound.

The house belongs to my cousin these days. I don't think she'd understand.

So, here's a summary.

- 12 different countries and 20 border crossings in 20 days
- 3221 miles [no more than 50% of them on motorways or dual carriageways]
- Average speed unknown, but unlikely to have been more than 40mph
- Max speed approx. 120 mph [for a very short stint in Germany]
- vtec probably no more than 1% of the total miles
- 29.8 mpg
- 1 litre of oil

Nearly a third of our spend went on fuel which made for an expensive holiday (for us, at least). We didn't mind: we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.

Would we do a trip like that again? Probably not. We took on too much, really, in that we should have stayed longer in some places and saved other destinations for another trip.
The Dolomites and the Erzgebirge were two separate targets. Do we regret not making them two separate holidays?
No. We had a fabulous time.

No argument. A 2.2 5G Prelude is an excellent tourer.
