EPIC FAIL
Rich called me today. Not about Nitin sticker.
Hes removed my blown engine and started on the new engine whilst its out.
Removed the cam cover to do the timing belt and hes found some very scoured Cams/rockers IIRC.
Hes then looked into the VTEC solenoid to look for metal shards and found metal in the filter mesh.
Unfortunetely all he can do is take the Cams etc out of my old engine assuming they are ok and put them in the new engine and contine with the engine service and put it in.
Without opening the new engine up he cant say if there is any damage or scouring on the block, crank etc.
So i will have a new engine in with a potential to fail.
Dam them Nargles. (potter)
So i think i may see whats left of the old engine and save for a potential rebuild later in life.
