Battlefield 4!

Post by Mudgey » Fri Nov 01, 2013 1:41 pm

Hello ladies,

So today I am feeling very ill and if I stay very still I can keep the contents of stomach where they belong! Yuck.... It doesn't happen very often tbh, I've only had 3 days off in the past 3 years and one of those was alcohol related and so entirely my fault! So today I have been taking it easy & after watching district 9 this morning whilst waiting for the pain killers to kick in I then remembered Battlefield 4 is released TODAY!! Now I hardly play games anymore, especially after playing BF1942 for years when I was supposed to be doing things constructive like home work etc.. however the BF series has a special place in my heart due to those fond memories from years ago and I always find time to try out the latest version upon release. I am currently awaiting the massive 22gb game to download off of Origin.. so does anybody else here plan on getting the game on the PC?

I love the BF series, by far the best FPS. I really enjoy BF3.

It's the first game I'm buying at the same time I buy a PS4 in January.

I found there was to much going on in bf3 it was always a race to get to the planes or something then people just waiting around for it to return. I live the modern warfare series as it reminds me more of counter strike which was the best FPS I it's day

I think my favourite BF ever has to BF Vietnam, the music and the jungle battles were epic, that was back in the day without any of this level up bullshit. The ones we have now are good but do seem a tad too complicated!! Despite this BF4 is pretty good!

The problem with the BF series now is that it rewards you the more you play it. Better guns, scopes, recon for every class/vehicle so if you are a casual player like me and join a public server you just get your ass handed to you on a plate.

With counterstrike based games everyone starts on the same level and rewards are based on skill in that game, so it makes it a bit more even, even if you are a noob

I like battlefield because your more unrestricted with what you can do

more random events can happen, plus all the vehicle's

more direction and focus on teamwork than COD's kill die kill die, which for that kinda game I prefer quake 3

This sounds much more amusing if BF =boyfriend

I may get it, though multiplayer isn't high on my list. I'm a PC gamer who uses a game pad, so I'm always at a disadvantage
