Weight reduction....

I just stripped out the spare wheel and the boot carpet/ply thing and the ply underneath the bonnet as it was tatty as hell anyways. Then I took out the front car mats and just out of interest stuck them on the bathroom scales and the 2 mats weighed just over half a stone on there own :o

Yup if you want to sacrifice comfort for performance stripping bits out of the car is the way to go 8-)

Yeah deffo, I don't want to go too far cause I want to keep it as my daily but I must of removed 2 stone or more in like 15 minutes, should of done it ages ago! :lol:

Deffo dont take it too far. Driving my 4th gen is exhilarating for sure but it is so uncomfortable. Jumping in to my 5th gen is luxury in comparison.

Best of both worlds is great got all the creature comforts in my black bb4 then the rawness stripped out in the grey bb4 happy days :)
