I'm going to go and have a look at what could well be vehicle number 5 tomorrow!! Just a couple more, and I'll have one for every day of the week! It's just to have a look round, as it's not roadworthy at the moment, but if all is good, I'll be getting my mate to collect it for me soon :D

Let's play the guessing game though, see who can guess what motor I'll hopefully be getting! :D

Clues:

- It has a separate chassis to body
- It's RWD
- It's 2 door
- It's 4 seater
- It's European
- It's tax exempt (pre-'73)
- Jeremy Clarkson believes certain sports cars are jumped up versions of this car
- One of the men involved with the design had a moustache that has become iconic to that man himself

Shouldn't take long to guess

EDIT: Oh no, they were '74 to '82.

I kind of second guessed that it doesn't have pop-up headlights as well, as I'm sure you would have mentioned that

Yea, I would have mentioned the pop up lights if it had them.

Gayno, yep, you're right!! I was gonna say that one of the designers was a famous fascist but I thought that would be a bit too obvious

Bummer, before you got to the mustachoied ex Austrian midget bit, I thought you were either describing a DS Citroen, or P6 Rover, I'm disappointed now

Hahaa, that may well be the case IL, but just think, it's a Beetle that will be in the hands of Crazy!! It's not going to resemble a Beetle too much when done. I was even contemplating a B16 conversion on it, but that will be some seriously hefty fabrication work involved in that!!
