Goodbye SORN renewals!!!

I always do it through the website so have never needed to go hunting for documents :D I cant wait for tax discs to go as well, that will be a big improvement.

Yeah, but whenever I open the post I never have my computer to hand, so it sits there for a while, then I forget and it gets buried, then the SORN for another one of my cars comes through the post and I think "jobby, I forgot to do the last one" and frantically scrabble around tying to find it... :lol:

I am crap with paper so it suits me good. Once a car has been SORN'd there are only two ways you can re-tax it, with the code on the SORN confirmation letter (which I always loose) or your V5, luckily I know where my V5's are :lol:

Exactly, the system has been there for a while, surprised its taken this long to announce.

Still bugs me about the rule change about having insurance and road tax, sucks for us people that would like to garage away the ludes over winter for 6 months. 8(

Never understood why it wasn't just perminant until told otherwise. Sounds like someone with some actual common sense has taken control of that department finally :clap:
