Have bought myself a new toy......picking it up tomorrow.
5l V8 fun machine. Can't wait. Went out for a diesel but was completely smitten with this one. Had to have it. Identical to this one.

This means my lovely prelude (and trusty mazda 6) are being sacrificed on the altar of Autotrader.
I'm guessing putting it up for sale here might be silly?.....as everyone on here already has a prelude.
Am a bit sad to let it go, have owned this prelude twice! but can't justify 4 cars.....or even 3....with the anticipated fuel bill.
:(

Defo stick it up here as well - people join up here looking for one (there are a couple wanted ads on here atm, as it happens).

Right, thanks guys - will do. Valet and pics before it chucks down then I think.
This means clearing out garage, something I have been putting off. I wonder if I could hide the prelude until it is not an issue anymore........
I sold the car to a PUK moderator:
.....then bought it back from him a few years later as I couldn't find another one that was as nice.
now with 123K and still going like it was with 70K

Sadly, The NSX's just seem to be climbing in value. These 6's are just such a lot of car for the money. Not as expensive as you'd think ;) I haven't given up on my ultimate Honda dream yet..... I just need to work harder on my master criminal plan. I've bought the box set of 'breaking bad'....how hard can this be?

Just got the new car home. Yowsa! it is phenomenal - I was expecting grunt but it is properly pokey. Gave it a proper test too. (Round the M25 in rush hour traffic on a Friday - if I can live with that crawl - I'm fine). I am definitely not going to be travelling far from a petrol station though. So - Alloy refurb, oil and a health check and all will be good. <crosses fingers>

Sorry. One of bmws uglyiest cars ever. Much prefer the 5 series that's under it.

Don't worry. I think you're not alone - lots of people think its awful looking. I'm really grateful - this has meant they have depreciated like a stone.....et voila....on my drive.I think most people on here (me included) owe a great deal to those that still write off preludes. ;)
I look at how much my old 200sx is now and how it has been mucked around with & its mega mileage and comapre it's price to my lude's price
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....failing that...there's always the light switch.
I think the next chapter of a well known franchise could be called "Fast & F'uglee"?
