Another one bites the dust?...

So you all know, I had a bit of an incident in my car this morning... or rather another driver did. I was pulled up in front of the first chicane at the bottom of Ash this morning on my way to work, waiting for the oncoming traffic (whose priority it was) to pass. I noticed the first car that was about to come through go up on the grass/mud verge lightly on his side but then he turned back again pointing his car through the chicane gap, which also put him in a direction pointed right at me. My instinctive thought once he'd passed through the chicane was that there's no way he can't see me (even with it being foggy), but then before I knew it, and before I even thought to beep my horn or anything he drove into my front corner and all down my side!
He then continued along the same line and right into the front of the Viridor lorry, which I assume had stopped where he did because he'd seen what had happened, but like me hadn't been able to do anything but be hit.. I knew straight away something was wrong with the guy, by the fact he hadn't reacted and changed direction at all, so I got straight out and ran over to him. I opened his door and he just looked blankly at me, wasn't surprised to see me or anything. He was trembling slightly but wasn't speaking or responding to my questions. I reached in and took his key thing out, pushed engine stop and put it in park (Although the engine didn't turn off, stupid Renault!) I'd guessed he had some sort of seizure or a stroke.
A few witnesses stopped and were very good and the Ambulance and Police turned up. I got checked out as I had a slight ache in my lower back which the paramedics wanted to check, but I'm fine really. Shame my car isn't though
I've reported the incident to mine and the causing driver's insurance and as the Police says there's no doubting that the other driver will accept full liability. In fact they said he's come around now since they took him to hospital and it turns out he suffers from epilepsy.
I'm just going to have to play the waiting game with his insurance company now.
