European breakdown cover

Why is it more expensive to cover any of my cars (import delsol, Lude, or Legend), than it is to cover my sister's Z4?

Especially when;

A) None of my cars have ever broken down.
B) They are all Hondas, famed for their reliability.
C) The Z4 is always breaking, and expensive stuff too.

All of mine came back with the same price, which suggests to me that I'll be paying top whack. Understandable with the imports, but the Legend is a UK car so should be lookupable (their quotation website asks for the reg number).

Anyway, I'm looking for cover over multiple countries, recommend me something.

More likely to do with age of vehicle, rather than import or reliability.

I've just signed up to Nationwide's FlexAccount Plus, one of these ones have to pay £10 per month for, but one of the perks is European breakdown cover for cars of any age. Given standard UK breakdown cover is around £70-80 per year, it's not much more over the year for the account.

try polices that cover the car not the person

we sell RAC breakdown (inc Europe) for £60 a year, but customer has to have insurance with us

£190 - £230 is extortionate prices, so is £30 a month

I need zone 3 but if I'm going to get an annual cover, I'd rather get all zones to include Spain too.
I've also just remembered I get freebie UK cover through the bank, so I might see if I can get some kind of discount there.

I'm assuming that was covering just the one car, as it asked for the reg number (I just tried it with all of mine).
Also, who do you work for, as I still need to insure the CRX?

yeah just the one car, but anyone driving can call the breakdown

small town broker :lol: you can pm me the details if you like and I can run it through

you might get better prices with brokers in your area.. but no harm in trying
