I know this will be a low viewer just by the title (well I hope it is) but done a deal whith the subarara roo yesterday for a 2.5 V6 couger and fair play apart from being as ugly as sin it drives tidy and has loads and loads of toys. Reminds me of a prelude in the sense of if you havent driven one but just diss it think again.

I knew they existed. Whenever I mention Ford Cougar to someone they think I mean the Kuga.

Funny you mention these, I was just on autotrader looking at coupes and there's loads of them for sale. Isn't the 2.5 lump some kind of Mazda/Ford collaboration? Same as in the MX-6?

Ah my bad, I just looked it up and it was the Probe that got the Mazda lump.

Always thought they were a little transatlantic looking. Decent GT car though, I bet.

I think I remember reading of the Mazda MX-6 V6 lump that some could lose oil in the head if left for a few days, then had a tendency to drop all 24 valves on startup... may just be hearsay.

Isn't the Ford Cougar a competitor to the Morris Milf?
