I'm just catching up last weeks Classic Car rescue. Missed all the first series, obviously particularly interested in this episode that featured a Porka
Did anyone else spot where they showed shots of a 944 instead of a 928?

Also can't work out why the heck didn't they overhaul/re-paint the brake calipers when they changed the discs and pads (which actually looked perfectly ok!).

Yes, spotted the 944.

TBH it was a pretty ropey resto (just a tart up IMO) of the 928, which was quite rightly reflected in the final value.

Yeah, it was just a tart up but tbh it wasn't in a bad state to start with really? It looked like an average respray (not mega shiny/sparkly).
The presenters are a couple of knob ends and why is it on these things they never get the narrator's script checked by someone that actually knows the cars, before they give it to them to record? But hey at least you get to see something of the car being worked on.

Whatever you do, don't buy this car or believe that we have actually done any of the work shown?
Is it something like this?
