The Return of the Duos III
Just when you thought it was safe to go in the water, Simon puts another of these up. Yes Gentlemen, another collection of even more cryptic clues regarding famous pairs. It’s a fairly eclectic bunch today covering music, film, television and sport.
1: One was a Queen, the other a Diva and they sang about a Spanish city.
2: Two giants of clubland in Lancashire. They were bitter rivals and hated each other’s guts. Name the two gentlemen and the clubs they ran please.
3: Arguably the best ending to a movie, ever. Were they or weren’t they?
4: Two comedy greats from the 60’s. One was a gifted musician the other rescued Private Eye from bankruptcy. Full names of this duo or the names we probably remember them better for. Either pair of names will do.
5: Zaaap! Powwwwwww! Thwaaaaak! Kerthuuunk! Keruuunch! Kaaaaapow!
6: English seaside town and a Sage what wrote.
7: Brian and Peter.
8: This pair of reprobates took a break at Monty’s country retreat.
9: T.I.T Directors
10: Hannibal Hayes and Kid Currie
11: King and Colonel
12: They had that Brad Pitt in the back of their car once.

7: No sir. Can't even give a clue as it'll give it away.
8: Well done. Just watched the movie again (for the three hundredth time last weekend)and it's still brilliant!
