Top tip for owners of turbo cars

When you start them up with all the intake system between the filter and the intercooler removed (so it's running n/a sucking through an intercooler but with the electronically controlled turbo spinning merrily away to itself) don't be too surprised that it run like crap.
Who would take a couple of minutes to realise that, eh?

Especially if it's got a MAF, and it's metering air before the turbo, but not all of that air is making it into the engine!
Or worse, if you've actually removed the MAF!
On a turbo'd car running a MAP sensor, it shouldn't make any difference whatsoever
