A good cheap GoPro alternative

Post by Ammo » Thu May 29, 2014 10:23 pm

While looking for something to record my drifting antics, people recommended a ebay cheapy gopro knock off

It's uses gopro mounts so you can interchange them

and in car footage from my mates Mk1 Cortina hotrod which is uploaded in 720p due to my slow internet

That was using the waterproof case but with the vented back plate to let some sound in

We bought one of these in December 2012. I think it cost £25 then. Its quality is acceptable and it's still going strong.

I bought one of these as I wanted a better camera for the track car. After playing around with it I think it is a nice bit of kit for the cash. The only thing I do not like is that it does not have a light on the front of it to show when it is recording. Other than that it seems good. The sound is so much better with the case off. Load of accessories came with it.
