Has anyone ever hit VTEC in reverse gear? Is it possible?

That could be quite scary ... but I wanna try now!

I foresee some impending doom trying to hit 5k in reverse

not sure if you could hit min speed for vtec, could in an auto though (unless the ecu knows you are in reverse that is), i wouldent know if the speed sensor would know the difference between formard or backward:?

Any one who tries VTEC in reverse is gay. Why would you need it unless you fancy getting your rear in to someone else's front.

Yes, if you "fancy getting your rear in to someone else's front", you could be considered gay. But if you're being chased and would like to perform a J-Turn... You're going to need to be going over 30mph.

There's a few attempts at it on Youtube, though no Preludes that I can see. And most of them don't even confirm whether they've achieved it or not. Just going by the sound, but all you can see is the speedo...

just went to try forgot to bring my car to work and the focus td doesnt have vtec
