Just caught this programme half-way through, wish I'd watched it from the beginning now! 
Fascinating and this guy was just nuts!
Astonishing stuff
487 different types of aircraft, including test piloting rocket powered and supersonic jets.
Fantastic hearing him recount the stories with such factual humility after all these years
