Ok im a bit stressed out as got home today from out shopping with mrs to find a letter from dvla saying thanks for informing us you sold your car and is no longer in my name . Of course i have not sold it but someone has paid to have it put in there name which u can easy do with a v62 application form an pay £25 . Now first thing i did was ring police who dont care less an told me to ring fraud dept an dvla but dvla are shut till monday plus fraud squad told me there busy ring next week , wat a bloody joke.
I have had to ring the fraud squad a few weeks ago as someone is buying stuff from auctions an using my address to send the bills to but they have done nothing about that either.
Anyway sorry long post but stressed to hell as can they just say its there car now or wat shud i do.

when someone requests a logbook without the green slip the DVLA send a notice to the registered keeper to make sure it isn't fraud if you don't contact them it all goes ahead
with something like this I would have to say it will be one of our eastern European friends and if they get the logbook it will be stolen and driven onto a ferry to be sold for bits unfortunately our cars are now becoming rare and valuable for parts especially abroard.

Ive already removed battery so it wont start plus if they install another the imoblizer wont let it start so only way is too toe it or trailor it . Police are a joke as wats the point of reporting it after its stolen wen they cud check now
