Essential check list for preparing your car for a long weekend trip to Goodwood FOS;

• Check oil - tick (added)
  Check screenwash - tick (surely I can squeeze a bit more in there...)
  Check coolant - tick (spot on)
  Check tyre pressures - tick ( 11psi on one? )
  Give car a wash - tick (this is essential before it spends 3 days either getting covered in mud or thick dust, of course )
  Carry out last minute performance mod - tick

But Goodwood is in Ingerland. Pre flight checks arnt really needed. Just ANOTHER trip. Unless you got a citroen working.

It's gonna be doing quite a few miles over that weekend though, because we're staying in Pompey and Soton and visiting friends in the evening over that time too.

Also it needed a bit of tlc - it's not had any for ages, just been used and abused, the poor thing I like to know it's all ship-shape before taking it away

make sure you get looooots of pics and film I sooooOO need to make it to Goodwood one year!!

we have the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power event which started a few years ago a few miles down the road from me and to be fair its bloody good, very much a Goodwood Padawan and ive made it twice to the show and damn worth it, but it's still no Goodwood
