help needed again (update) issue fixed

Hi all.
I have another problem with my new lude
which has just developed. When I go to start the car all the lights come on the dash as normal. Then as I turn it for it to start nothing happens it doesn't even attempt to turn over. I dont know if it helps but the abs light comes on at the point I try to start it.
Any help appreciated as I am seriously starting to lose patients with the lude

Simplest solutions first - have you tried jumping it off another car? Sounds like it could possibly be a flat battery.

Could be the ignition switch, which is a common problem, or a bad battery.

They are NOT recommended as ambulance vehicles.

@vtecmec do you know where the ignition switch is as if I jiggle the key on & off a few times then it starts other times it will fire straight away as it did this morning

If its the ignition switch does that basically mean I need a new barrel?

If wiggling the key works then it has to be ignition switch I would think. The switch barrel itself is what the key actually goes in to on the steering column.
At first I wondered about starter motor but definitely would be looking at the switch.
