jumped in the pickup yesterday and had a noise coming from under my feet and banging on the floor, couldn't work out wtf it was but the cat from next door has a habit of sleeping in my engine bay.
i hadn't seen the cat for a couple of days and it sounded for the life of me like his tail was wrapped around my driveshaft and his head was banging on the floor as it went around.
after a closer inspection all was revealed and next doors cat is fine but my diff bearings are shot to bits
VTEC in reverse has not helped as i had a small vibration pre vtec reverse and now this.

The cat's fine and the car's not?!
My mate used to have a 200sx and one of his neighbours cat's used to sleep in his engine bay... Like properly in there

I can't recall exactly what happened now, but I think he started her up one day whilst the cat was still in there, obviously scaring the bejesus out of it, enough for it to never come back. He never knew it had been sleeping in there at all, until he heard this wailing screaming noise and a bang, popped the bonnet and there was a good amount of fur left where the cat had obviously had a panic attack

See as a cat lover, nothing good comes from owning a 4th Gen. Potential cat killing cars.
