Help me please! I got 400gb laptop but the hard drive has a partition at 60 gig. Its telling me Im low on disk space but I know I have at least 300gig left but why isnt it just using the free space?

It came like this from new, its not somthing I have done.

Are you sure it's definitely 400gb?

it is yes,

drive c being the one I have been using drive d is cd dvd drive and drive E is the big one with loads of space left.

usually the smaller partition has all of your recovery data on it :? can you see it on the larger partition?

what your setting for low space/quota? do you have iphone? that eat lot of space if you have itunes
