keep hearing about this Mimms? so googled it and now know it's south mimms services
so went on google directions and it's 95 miles from me but the bit i couldn't stop laughing about was the bit at the bottom saying "fuel cost" £18.22

IN WHAT?

What's funny?
I google'd and it says my fuel cost would be £3.98. So depending on where you live it will roughly work it out.

lmao Nitin the joke is that 95 miles would cost more than £18.22 in a Prelude. He's asking what car the fuel cost is based on.
The joke being Preludes are fuel hungry.
Figured I'd explain it twice, just in case.

thanks Jay i am glad someone got it
if i tried to get from Southampton to Mimms and put in £18.22 i would just about make Basingstoke and run out of fuel
they must base their fuel costs on a 900cc Panda doing 15mph all the way
if i am going to Mimms i will have to look at £50 in fuel and "play nice" or as usual get my Vtec rush and fuel up on the way back

95 miles = £22.23 in my Prelude (£0.234/mile).

I just plumbed in from Yeovil (where I live) to Fairford (Performance Autoworks) to see how much it came up with, knowing it had cost about £45 there and back. It came up with £17.97 one way, (so £35.94 return), but if you click on the amount you can change the parameters from standard to high consumption and change the price of fuel. Makes all the difference

It works it out correctly, if you drive normally (without VTEC and like a granny).
I used this google map thing to work out my route from my house in London to Birmingham, this was 110 Miles away. This was £14.70 on the google calculator thing and I used about ~£15 so it's pretty accurate.
