A big fat load of massive bollox. That's the yank accord coupe.

I'd have to see a release from Honda to believe they are rethinking the Prelude.
Fact or fiction aside though, despite my feelings about buying brand new cars being an act of insanity/money burning exercise, I think if they released the Prelude again then I could temporarily allow myself to go insane enough to buy one on finance

Buggery bollox, there will never be another prelude, if they ever use the name again it is so far in the future that the only thing in common will be a name.

lets call the new accord coupe a prelude . Whats in a name ?

I'm on the fence. It looks good granted, but it is missing many aspects that make a Lude a Lude.

Yank Accord that as Scott said.
I think a RWD Prelude would do well, look at the success of the GT86.

I think I'd rather drive a Prelude than a thing that looks like a photoshopped 350Z.

If Honda call it a Prelude, then it's a Prelude (they have more rights to the name than us!

) and we'd do well to welcome owners onto the forum, for the sake of the club IMO.
Anyway, this one is a lot more definite;
New Mx-5
Looks good. Staying true to its roots as a small nimble 2 seater roadster and not getting bloated, fat and heavy like all new cars, by the looks

True. But we'd still reserve the right to take the mick, irrespective of which model it is.
