Airbags

Good day all.
Has any one ever removed the passenger side airbag. The. Removed the plastic dash bit from the actual airbag?

Is it safe to to remove that hen it's not plugged in :lol: hate airbags.

I've removed all the security screws but don't want to yank the plastic of incase it blows my face off :suicide: lol

Ok I got bored of waiting and staring it down so thought fook it and ripped it off :lol: Although I am typing this with three less digits spirit is high :mrgreen:


Jokes it came off fine no issues :)

Same mate. I will be taking mine out and putting a alloy panel in to mount my gauges on. Just rivet the dancer on lol ;)

It weighs 5kg :) I thought about putting done run or alike in the hole but put the dash hat thing back so it looks OEM still for now. :)

Saved around 40kg today with not doing much lol still have complete interior in :) lol

I need to weigh my lude still yet. Early next year I will be stripping most of the rest of the interior 8-) out, door cards, mirrors ect ;)

Not on it's own no. But you can see yesterday I saved 40kg without really doing anything. The build hasn't started yet mate. Once I actually start I'll be down to around 1000kg ;)
