wheel alignment. .. South west?

Post by Giomani » Wed Sep 17, 2014 1:39 pm

Hi guys.. I'm driving my 5th down to Pula in Croatia in 2 weeks time on another road trip. Before I go I was hoping to get my wheel alignment done. I am struggling to find somewhere that doesn't scratch their heads when I tell them I've got 4WS. Does anyone know anyone in Devon or Cornwall that can do it? I have found a guy that will do it but I need to borrow/buy a locking pin.. but I'm leaving on the 2nd so time is of the essence! ! Any help greatly appreciated.

If anyone in Plymouth can do it, it would be pro tyre in cattdown but I've never tried myself.

I normally use performance tyres on billacombe road in plymstock, they have a great laser alignment machine but not sure and doubt they have the locking tool.
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock

I don't have time to drive up to Fairford otherwise I would definitely have gone there... I'm prepared to "hire" a locking pin if anyone would be kind enough to lend me one!

It's essentially just a 6 (or 6.5?) mm rod. Obviously at your own risk, but anything that fits snugly should work.
