Decided to take my lude on a run from Bedford to winsford and back today. So as I was about to set off I filled her up and proceeded with my journey.
I have now completed my journey there and back which is 308 miles altogether and included getting stuck in 4 traffic jams & only used half a tank of petrol

I am genuinely chuffed to bits how well the lude did. And that was with a few vtec engagements.
Just felt like sharing

Lo
Have you got 2 petrol tanks
I get about that many miles between fill ups and I have a 2.0
Cheers

your fuel gauge float isn't sticking at halfway, is it?

the best part is I had a passenger as well. And yep its the silver one a 2.2 vti. I worked it out and it equates to 45 mpg

How it happened I do not know. I need to try it again sometime and maybe mount a dash cam

You'll probably find that the second 'half' of the tank drops a fair bit quicker than the first.
There was a good explanation for why somewhere, but I can't find it now
I've had similar before. You think you'll get the same again from the second half but I usually get 400 miles on a tank, on a run, and that's good going.
