Wind Deflectors + Supercharging = FAIL

When i resprayed my car last year i caught both deflectors with my sanded and knocked out a couple of fixings so they were as loose as Nitin.

Well last week i really gave the supercharger a hammering and one wind deflector flew off the car during peak torque.

And yesterday the same happened on the other side.

Both on busy A roads and shattered.

So now i have to source brand new ones and they will be close to £240 after rape tax.

On a good note, the car feels fantastic during open loop driving.

Next time add some sort of double sided tape to the underside of the deflectors.. For extra stickiness

tbh its sounds good that you lost your deflectors - a sure sign the supercharging is working as it should.
id rather have a working supercharger set up than working deflectors

Wind deflectors? Supercharger says NO!

Just think of your car just shaking off the bits it doesn't need.
